OK, I’m aa Cub fan. I hate the Yanks, and as close as they might be to the Cubbies, I’m pretty sick of hearing about the BoSox…So please consider me an impartial combatant in this matter…That being said, the Yankees DID make the playoffs this year. They were the AL Wild Card team with a record of 94-68, and they were swept out of the first round by the Indians. Their manager is not the one who tells them to cut their hair, it’s the owner. Finally, I wouldn’t say their victories this year were effortless, considering the Red Sox actually LOST the season series to the Yanks, 8-10. Sorry to be “that guy,” but the previous post made absolutely no sense to me.

Well the Sox have the best bullpen, and a great lineup. The Yanks lost to Cleveland. Almost swept until a former redsox player (Damon) had to save them out of the hole. But they lost the series anyway. Yanks were something at one point when they had Babe Ruth, but who wouldn’t win every single world series with a player like Babe Ruth. He hit 20 home runs a year, when the runner up would hit 2. THat’s the equivalent of somebody hitting 150 homeruns in a year. Shit yeah, you’ll win with a player like that. But now the yanks have nothing but a good team because they have money flowing out their asshole to pay high salaries. But the Sox have teamwork that the yankees will never have, especially not under that nazi regime of Steinbrenner.

Okay, here’s how I see it. Im from Buffalo, and I’m a Red Sox fan, mainly because I grew up in a Red Sox family. I hate the Yankees, with a passion, but they are still a good team, I can’t honestly sit here and say they suck, because quite frankly, they don’t. They choke sometimes but all teams do. I just don’t have any respect for the team whatsoever . Hence why I hate them.
